GLENCOE, AL (7/03/07) -- The Stars and Fireworks were on display at Green Valley Speedway Tuesday Night July 3rd. Despite the entries of Ray Cook, Ronnie Johnson, Tim Busha, Bo Shirley, T. J. Alford and many other National & Local Stars of Super Late Model Racing, Dale McDowell, of the famed Richard Childress racing family, won the $5,000 to Advanced Auto Parts Super Late Model Event. There was not much doubt in the Fastrak Crate Late Model event either as, McDowell cruised to victory. Local Fastrak Crate Late Model Star Clay Grogan made a slick maneuver to slip past double event driver Ronnie Johnson to gain some valuable last minute position in that event, not  enough to let Grogan win, but certainly helped gain him some points in his season long points battle for the track championship.

The Mod Pony Bounty Goes to Possible $1,000.00 The Mod Pony class brought many competitors from far and wide to try and cash in on the $500.00 Bounty that is on the head of Brian Dodgen’s number 13 car. Despite the talented field Dodgen could not be denied yet another victory. We have now capped the Regular Bounty at the $500.00 mark. However we will raise the Bounty up to $1,000 if at least 20 Mod Pony Cars show up and they each pay a special entry fee of $25.00 per car. If Dodgen wins he gets 50% of the special entry fee and the other top finisher of the drivers who entered and paid the $25.00 special entry fee gets the other 50% of the special entry fee.    YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO PAY THIS $25.00 FEE, BUT THEN YOU CAN ONLY BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE INTIAL $500.00 Bounty and all extra fees paid in will go to the top finisher of the race who was entered & paid into the Special Entry Fee. If Dodgen does not finish the race the original Bounty carries over and 50% of the Special Entry Fee money will be added to the following weeks regular Bounty and 50% goes to the top finisher who paid into the special entry fee each night.
