In June of 2006,
Dennis Harker bought Green Valley Speedway. After purchasing the track, Dennis Harker leveled all but one of the existing building and gave the track a much needed face lift. He built new concession stands, restrooms, tech building, garage area and building for the fire truck. In addition, Dennis also put up a new fence new clay on the track, resurfaced the parking area, added some lights and built five skyboxes. Other improvements to the track including taking the dogleg out of the back straightaway. To this day, Dennis Harker continues to make racing at Green Valley Speedway one of the premier race tracks in the south. Green Valley Speedway now has a Go-kart track.
